The legendary wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins got two of the major NFL franchises competing over him. In the recent turn of events, the New England Patriots are intensifying their efforts to sign Hopkins. Moreover, to make it more interesting Tennessee Titans have joined the race. However, the Patriots are keen to sign the star wide receiver’s services. Still, the Hopkins merger with any NFL franchise remains in the dark shadow.

Moreover, after getting released by Arizona Cardinals, Hopkins’ off-season is creating a frenzy around the possibilities of his new home. Earlier, the Patriots were negotiating a deal with Hopkins and now it has come to a halt, with the addition of Titans. 

The Patriots and the Titans are in a race to sign Hopkins

From Houston Texas to the Cardinals, Hopkins delivered promising statistics in his NFL career. In his receiving end in the 2022 season, Hopkins manages 717 yards and 3 TDs for the Cardinals. Following this, the WR is at the top of the priority list.

A recent tweet by the NFL Rumors Twitter account stated, “The #Titans and #Patriots are still the favorites to land DeAndre Hopkins. #DHop”. Giving more insights on the matter, Earlier the NFL Notifications account tweeted, “#Patriots are working hard to sign WR DeAndre Hopkins. A deal is currently being negotiated.” 

However, Hopkins’ 2023 NFL season with Pats or Titans still remains a subject of mystery. But unfolding the cards, an official has delivered insider news, revealing the franchise that holds maximum chances of stealing a deal on Hopkins. Though earlier it was Patriots with the upper hand on the deal, the official had something opposite to reveal.

What does the future hold for DeAndre Hopkins?

ESPN’s football insider Jeremy Fowler revealed that Hopkins recently visited Patriots and Titans. However, the Titans remain strong in their chase for Hopkins. Fowler further stated, “I’ve checked on this just recently and I was told the Tennessee Titans are still pretty well positioned here, they’re in the mix, and certainly they have a high level of interest from head coach Mike Vrabel on.

This will give Hopkins fans a ray of light in the dark. However, the official confirmation is yet to come. As the 2023 NFL season is approaching, the off-season drills are getting intense and fun.
