The debate of who is the greatest athlete of all time, between Michael Jordan and Tom Brady, is a long pending one. Magic Johnson, former NBA legend and MJ’s iconic rival from the past, expressed his views. He was talking about the former Patriots QB with Jimmy Kimmel.

The superstar said he loved watching Brady play football. This is because TB12 is a champion and makes his teammates play better football. The experienced star, added Tom Brady, played great football even when he was with the Patriots. I would say that I love watching Tom Brady play the game of football. Because he is a champion and he makes his teammates better, right? If you think about the greatest athletes we’ve ever seen play, Michael Jordan did the same, Larry Burke did the same. Tom Brady is doing the same, whether that was in New England or now with Tampa Bay. So I am cheering for Tampa Bay. I just want a great game,” he said

TB12 compared with legends of the game

The 45-year-old QB is one of the best to have played in the NFL. He is often compared with the greatest athletes spanning various sports. The similarity that the former NBA legend found between Brady, Larry Bird, and Magic Johnson is that they all are great entertainers. The legendary star added these three are the greatest athletes of the game.

Meanwhile, the 63-year-old had praised Kansas City Chiefs star Patrick Mahomes. The NBA great felt Mahomes played the game similar to how the legend used to play in the past. PM15 also found a special mention for his no-look passes.

What is next with Tom Brady?

The NFL GOAT is working hard towards winning his eighth Super Bowl title. The Buccaneers lost momentum after two wins. They have suffered back-to-back losses versus the Packers and Chiefs. The future HOF-er was also criticized for being too slow in moving.
