Sam Williams will find himself reaping what was sowed in the most negative of ways. As teams in the league gear up to head into their respective battles, the Cowboys will find themselves in an unfortunate situation.
Williams, a rookie, was involved in a car crash in December 2022. The organization and fans were incredibly grateful that all those involved in the crash escaped unscathed. While the Cowboys’ defensive end did not sustain major injuries, the consequences of what happened have arrived.

Despite the situation surrounding Williams, next bout top priority for Cowboys
The incident resulted in Williams missing two consecutive games before coming back to the field on the Cowboys’ last game of the regular season. During the game, Williams recorded two tackles and one sack against the Commanders. Anyone who follows the game will know the importance of having a solid unit, especially during the postseason. While facing some of the league’s best teams, it would be a shame to not have valuable assets on the field.
At the moment, it is unclear if the defensive end will be missing in action. The Cowboys will hope to stay on track despite the circumstances. They will take on Tom Brady and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in their NFC wild-card game. Even though the Bucs have been far from a top-tier team this season, they shouldn’t be taken for granted. Brady, who is known for pulling wins from thin air, will also be pushing his squad to be at their best. From the start of the season, Jerry Jones and his squad have had their eyes set all the way. They will hope that no circumstance will deter them from accomplishing what they set out to do.
