Odell Beckham Jr. is gearing up for a return to the NFL after over a year. The explosive wide receiver recently completed an $18 million free agency move to the Baltimore Ravens. Days after the blockbuster move, OBJ is spending some quality time with his family. The Super Bowl champion spread a smile on his son’s innocent face amid the news of a crucial presser.

OBJ hasn’t played in the NFL since tearing his ACL in his Super Bowl appearance last year. He attracted a lot of attention in free agency last season but chose to focus on injury recovery. Now that his return is sealed, he can turn his attention to making his son smile.

OBJ has bagged a one-year deal with the Ravens worth $18 million. Out of the total amount, a whopping $15 million comes in guaranteed money. The Ravens struggled in the playoffs last season and the inclusion of OBJ would give them a proven weapon to unleash when the 2023 season kicks off. But first things first, the franchise is preparing a big welcome for their newest asset.

 The big welcome

The Ravens will welcome their newest asset in Baltimore with a press conference on Thursday. It will be Odell Beckham Jr.’s introduction to the city of Baltimore, not that he needs any though. And it will feature the Ravens GM Eric DeCosta along with head coach John Harbaugh.

The Ravens went all out to acquire the wide receiver after facing intense scrutiny over an extension deal with QB Lamar Jackson. And this signing could solve that problem too as Jackson looked happy to welcome OBJ into the Ravens on the day of the announcement. Will he stay to play along with him, even if it is for the next season? Maybe the presser can offer a clearer picture.
