During Ed Sheeran’s concert in Detroit, the audience was in for an incredible surprise when Eminem made a hometown appearance on Saturday. The four-time Grammy award winner kept the surprise under wraps by announcing that he would perform a “cover” of an Eminem song. At Ford Field that night, Sheeran informed the crowd that he would play a cover of “Lose Yourself” by Eminem.

Playfully, Sheeran mentioned that he and his band had only learned the song earlier that day, adding, “Let’s see how this goes.” As the crowd caught onto the beat, $230 million Eminem joined Sheeran on stage, setting the concert ablaze with their performance. While the 32-year-old rocked in Detroit, he has also proved his passion for the Titans. Interestingly, it’s worth noting that he also electrified the stage during the 2021 NFL Kickoff.

In a 2021 interview, Ed Sheeran disclosed his participation in the 2021 NFL Kickoff Experience, held before the season opener between the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Dallas Cowboys on September 9 of the same year. Additionally, he revealed his allegiance to the Tennessee Titans.

He stated that his fandom began when he moved to Nashville in 2013 and discovered their symbol on a pair of pajamas he purchased from Walmart. He said that since then he has been an ardent fan of the Titans. The acclaimed singer/songwriter also graced the stage for the 2021 NFL Kickoff Concert at Julian B. Lane Riverfront Park in Tampa, Florida.
