NFL franchise Denver Broncos has brought in not only a great player, but also a great human being in quarterback Russell Wilson. The new Broncos QB and his wife Ciara recently visited the Colorado Children’s Hospital to visit kids in the facility. The pair were dressed in the Denver colors of orange and blue and obliged the little ones with photographs, autographs, and interacting with them.

Wilson does have a history of being involved in charity work since his Seattle days and seems to be not leaving it out in Denver. Both Ciara and Wilson were the creators of the Why Not You Foundation which was started to influence kids and aid them in making big changes in the world.

It also does research into the medical sector involving especially cancer treatment and also focuses on education.

The interaction seems to have been quite special for some of the staff members and the kids who got the chance to get close to the famous pair. Some of them were impressed by how quickly Wilson is connecting with the communities within Denver and how much charity means for him. He also took to Twitter, stating, “Inspired by the courage these amazing kids have! @Ciara & I had a blast today!

Russell Wilson: Making a difference on and off the field

It seems the former Super Bowl champion is covering all bases with the new team and will be sure to receive a thunderous reception in his first game. Wilson will be joining a team that was missing a recognizable QB from competing for all the trophies available in the AFC conference. He will be sure to complement his work off the field with success on field to keep the Denver faithful happy.

There seems to be a visible excitement from the player for joining a great team who is ready to win now. He will, however, be competing in one of the toughest divisions in the AFC West. It has franchises like the Kansas City Chiefs, Los Angeles Chargers, and the Las Vegas Raiders.

Wilson will have to elevate his game against their divisional opponents significantly to have any hope of making a playoff run this season.

Both Wilson and Ciara’s visit will fill the Broncos’ fans with hopes of his commitment to be great from day one. It was an unforgettable day for the children and the staff members of the Children’s Hospital in Colorado, as it marks the start of a fruitful association.
