The uncertainty regarding Adams’ future has got some people in the NFL talking as well. With the wide receiver entering the last season of his current contract, Las Vegas Raiders QB Derek Carr dropped hints about potentially chasing Adams in free agency.

Davante Adams not ready to dabble with speculations
Speaking to The Mercury News, Adams was asked about the idea of reuniting with his college QB or even playing for a team that doesn’t wear Green and Yellow. The speedster though was quick to shoot down the talk stating that for now he’s focused on remaining a Packer.
“Well, I mean, I’m a Packer, so I can’t really get too far ahead on that,” Adams said. “When the season ends and if nothing’s figured out, then maybe we’ll have something to talk about. But those are cautious waters, so I can’t really dabble in that now.”

The Packers have reportedly opened talks with Davante Adams about a new contract. But not much progress has been made so far on that end.
