Aaron Rodgers and the Green Bay Packers are having a season to remember in 2020. Under coach Matt LaFleur, the Packers are now on a 12-3 record heading into Week 17 of the season. Rodgers is undoubtedly having one of the best seasons of his longstanding NFL career in 2020. However, another Packers player who has impressed this year is talented wide receiver, Davante Adams.
The 28-year old has been terrific this year. He has been Rodgers’ trusted deputy in the Packers offense. Together, the pair have transformed the Wisconsin-based franchise into potential Super Bowl contenders. The Packers will get the number one seed in the NFC if they beat their divisional rivals, Chicago Bears, on Sunday.

Davante Adams shines as Packers defeat AFC South big boys
From a Fantasy Football point-of-view, there have been a few surprise packages this season. Packers WR Davante Adams falls in that category for sure. Davante caught 11 of 12 targets for 142 yards and three TDs as the Packers made their way to a 40-14 win over the Tennessee Titans on Sunday.
Adams registered 32 fantasy points for his brilliant individual display in Week 16. His overall points tally for the season stands at 206 despite missing two games due to injury. He will hope to build on that tally with a strong display against the Bears this weekend.

Apart from Davante, the likes of Los Angeles Chargers rookie Justin Herbert, Minnesota Vikings WR Justin Jefferson and Washington Football Team RB Antonio Gibson have also been grabbing eyeballs this season. Especially Herbert who remains in contention for the NFL Rookie of the Year award along with Jefferson.
But another surprise performer over the last couple of weeks has been Philadelphia Eagles’ Jalen Hurts. The second-round pick has now replaced Carson Wentz as the undisputed starter in Philly. In 12 starts this season, Wentz could manage just one game throwing for more than 300+ yards.
