A new lawsuit has come into the picture that involves Carter. Carter is being sued by a family member of a teammate that passed away in the accident. Even after being drafted, the tackle is being followed by his past.

In January, the tackle was involved in a car crash. This crash claimed the lives of both his teammate, Devin Willock as well as the recruiting staffer Chandler LeCroy. After the crash, he was charged with 2 misdemeanors. Due to these, he was found guilty of two charges of racing and reckless driving. After the whole ordeal, he was fined $1,000 and given a 12-month probation. After such crimes, Carter as well as his former University are being sued by Dave Willock Sr. As per the Athletic, Dave Willock Sr. is seeking $30 million from the defendants in compensatory damages.
Furthermore, Wilock is also seeking $10 million in punitive damages from Carter. Even after being drafted, the Philadelphia tackle is being followed by his dark past. The fateful accident took place in January.

The unfortunate accident that almost cost Carter his NFL dream
The five-star recruit from Georgia was investigated for a horrible car crash that had claimed the lives of his teammate, David Wilock Jr., and a member of the Georgia staff, Chandler LeCroy. The lawsuit slapped on him alleged that Carter had a specific pattern of excessive speeding. He has previous charges of speeding in low-speed areas. Due to this incident, the NFL-bound tackle has become included in this multi-million dollar lawsuit.
