Buffalo Bills’ Dane Jackson sustained what many suspected as a career-ending injury in the game against the Tennessee Titans. While the 25-year-old cornerback tried to tackle Treylon Burks, the receiver of the Titans, a fellow teammate Tremaine Edmunds, forcefully collided with him. Medical support rushed to his help immediately. They took him to the hospital because of the fatal nature of the injury. Then a report came that held only optimistic news for the young cornerback.

The game started in a powerful manner. Buffalo had a stronghold against the Tennessee Titans. The accident happened in the late of the first half. With 58 seconds remaining on the clock, Edmund made the splash on Burks. He accidentally hit his upper body on Jackson’s helmet. Causing his head to snap back violently. While the medical personnel surrounded him, the players halted their game. The injury looked brutal.
After the medical personnel took Jackson away, the coach of the team, Sean McDermott, showed up in the ambulance at halftime. At the hospital, they took an X-ray and CT scan.

After he exited the game, rookie cornerbacks Christian Benford and Kaiir Elam rotated for Jackson and filled his place. For the Bills, everything went well in the matchup.
