The fans expected the Green Bay Packers and Aaron Rodgers to snap finally out of the losing streak against the Detroit Lions. But it wasn’t to be. Naturally, the Lions HC Dan Campbell would have emotions running within him after such a big victory. In the post-game press conference, he gave an honest answer to this question.

Dan Campbell wants a beer post game

After defeating the Packers in an intense game, the Lions were bound to be exhausted. And their coach, even more so after the pressure of a big game. The media asked Lions HC Dan Campbell about the emotions running through him and his team after defeating Aaron Rodgers and the Packers. And he came up with an honest answer to this.

“Yeah, of course it feels great. I am gonna be honest with you; I’m exhausted. I wanna go home, put the feet up, drink a beer,” Campbell said.

“So, it feels real good. I am proud of it,” the coach added.

So, the Lions won the game 16-9, and Campbell is proud of it. But the opposing QB had a performance to forget.

A performance to forget by Aaron Rodgers

The great Aaron Rodgers left a lot to be desired with his performance against the Lions. It is a performance he would want to forget very soon. The iconic QB threw just 291 yards in the game.

He threw just one touchdown pass against a defense that doesn’t have a great record of keeping the opposing offenses away from their end zone. Rodgers attempted 43 passes to his O-line but registered just 23 completions. Top it all off, the Lions’ defense intercepted three of his passes. Not a record an elite QB will want to see.

Rodgers hasn’t had a good season, and it shows in the Packers’ record. The team has won just three of the nine games they have played so far this season. The Packers last ended the game as a winning side when they defeated the New England Patriots in Week four-game.

They sit second in the NFC North divisional table. As for the Lions, they still are last in their NFC North divisional table after their second win of the season. Can Rodgers shrug off this performance and revive the Packers? And is this win the start of something for the Lions? Only time will tell.
