Jerry Jones has been the owner of the Dallas Cowboys since 1989. He is widely respected around the league, because of his great personality. Jerry also has good relations with most of his current and ex-players. Back in 1995, he appeared in a commercial for a famous food outlet.

Accompanying him was Cowboys legend, Deion Sanders; they both starred in a commercial for Pizza Hut. Deion Sanders is known for playing ‘both’ baseball and football. In football also he played on both defensive and offensive sides of the field.

The main aim of the commercial was to show that Pizza Hut was offering both types of Pizza that were loved by people back then. In that case, Deion Sanders certainly was the right man to feature alongside Jerry Jones..

Since Jerry Jones was part of the commercial along with a Cowboys player, the company must have received a good response from the public. This is mainly because the Cowboys were arguably the best team in the 1990s, and became known as America’s team.

Deion Sanders is currently the head coach of Jackson State. He has shown that he is a great coach, and everyone knows he is a great leader as well. Once, NBA legend Shaquille O’Neal on his podcast, claimed that Deion Sanders should be the next head coach for the Cowboys and asked Jerry Jones for it.

He said, “I’m putting this out right now. Deion Sanders is the next head coach for the Dallas Cowboys, Jerry Jones. This message is from Shaquille O’Neal Incorporated. Deion Sanders for the next head coach of the Cowboys.”

Shaq added, “You want Dallas back rocking? Bring Deion to the fold. Deion will hold those players accountable. Deion Sanders for the next Cowboys coach. Put it out, Tweet it, TikTok it, Instagram it… put it out.”

Deion Sanders, in response to Shaq’s comments, claimed he wasn’t ready to coach the pros. As a result, he would still be with Jackson State in college football, and guide upcoming young prospects.
