The sudden passing of John Madden has left a hole in the heart of the NFL community. We have lost a big part of the league. The sad news of the legend’s passing at 85 has shaken everyone up.

John Madden inspired many football coaches and players throughout his life and was, perhaps, the biggest ever name associated with the sport. Since the news of his passing broke, the football community has come together to say their final goodbyes to the legend. The owner of the Dallas Cowboys Jerry Jones has been deeply affected by this incident. He had some very kind words for the Hall of Famer.

After learning about the sad demise of John Madden, the Cowboys owner gave a fitting tribute. Jerry Jones said, “I am not aware of anyone who has made a more meaningful impact on the National Football League than John Madden, and I know of no one who loved the game more.”

Madden was the heart and soul of the NFL. Jones then addressed the legacy and life of the legend; Madden loved his family, football, fans and his life.

John Madden coached the Oakland Raiders for 10 seasons. After stepping down from being a head coach, he joined many major NFL broadcast teams. For thirty beautiful years, we heard the voice of John Madden alongside the analysts of CBS, FOX, ABC, and NBC.

While talking about larger-than-life personas, there’s no bigger name than Madden in the NFL. Jones claimed that if anybody knew John, they would say that he made your life better. The legend was a trusted advisor, confident, a teacher to all, and more importantly, he was a special friend, as per Jones. 

Jerry also claimed that John was one of those people who spoke, and the entire room listened quietly. He had a special aura around him. When Madden laughed, you laughed. Everybody had things to learn from him.

The words of Jerry Jones, along with many other NFL personalities, describe Madden as a warm and loving person. No one has anything other than good words for him. He was a teacher and, above all, a very humble human being.
