Popular NFL analyst slammed head coach Mike McCarthy for not living up to the expectations. According to Sharp, the Cowboys are one of the promising teams in the league with each facet of the team well-established to win a super bowl championship. However, in the 2022 season, the Cowboys ended the season by winning 12 games and losing 5.

Sharp appeared on ‘The Volume’s’ Youtube channel where Jason McIntyre interviews on the upcoming NFL season. When asked about the Cowboys, Sharp shared, “who’s actually going to be the most involved with the play calling but my current estimation is that it’s mainly going to be Mike McCarthy.”

Following this he shared, “McCarthy’s gonna call plays run the offense it’s going to go his way and I think it’s because this really should be his way or the highway like he should be gone if he can’t do anything with this team this season in my opinion uh they’re too stacked on both sides of the ball talent wise.

Mike McCarthy will be running the offense and defense of the team, considering the talented roster of the Cowboys, Sharp made a statement on McCarthy. However, following the heat, the upcoming 2023 season will be a proving point for the head coach.
