Even the Cowboys’ quarterback. Dak Prescott seems to be working at the forefront for the team to acquire some good talent. In fact, the Cowboys even went as far as to tweet to Odell Beckham Jr. himself.
Strong trade intention by the Dallas Cowboys
The Cowboys have been lobbying for OBJ to come to Dallas for a while now. There have been reports about Odell Beckham Jr. and Dak Prescott meeting and the quarterback wooing the wide receiver. The Cowboys are pulling out all the stops to convince the veteran to commit to their cause. There have been different people from the locker room who have reached out to OBJ. Chief among them has been the team’s quarterback, Dak Prescott.
Prescott has made it clear that he wants OBJ in North Texas as soon as humanly possible. He mentioned that having the wide receiver on the team would be special. With the talent he would bring, the quarterback expressed his interest and said, “That just creates more weapons for not only me but for the offense and for the play-caller. It’s more things for the defense to worry about.” Prescott also spoke about the efforts the other guys in the locker room have put to approach OBJ.

The Cowboy spoke about how he’s made it clear that he wants the wide receiver in Dallas and also said, “And a lot of the guys in this locker room have reached out on their own in different ways — to make sure he understands this is a team he can help. And we want him to come help.” The Cowboys are not the only ones pursuing OBJ. There have been other teams that are pursuing him, and he has made it clear that he might have narrowed it down to two different teams.
