Dallas Cowboys star quarterback Dak Prescott has been out for two weeks with a calf injury that he sustained against the Patriots fixture of week 7. Since then, he has missed the practice sessions and the teams’ week 8 clash with the Vikings as a precautionary move from the head coach McCarthy.
However, Prescott has made a return as he was present during the Wednesday practice session of the team, but in addition to that, his full participance in the team’s Thursday practice session is an indication that he will be the starter against the Denver Broncos.

Dak Prescott will return against the Denver Broncos
During his practice sessions, head coach McCarthy has been scaling his progress day by day and seems confident on the quarterback’s reports. And the head coach himself feels that the quarterback has a great chance to make a return this Sunday, although that seems to be the plan. “The plan is for him to practice and play,” said McCarthy.

Prescott was inactive during the Cowboys’ clash against the Vikings, but replacement QB Cooper Rush seems to have fit in well in the squad as he led the Cowboys to a 16-20 victory. Rush, however, gave an incredible introduction as a starter as he finished with 24 passes with 40 attempts covering 325 yards with two touchdowns and an interception.

But since all the stars pointing at Prescott‘s return, Rush’s remarkable skills will be used again at times of difficulty. It was fortunate for the franchise to have a bye during week 7, as it gave the quarterback enough time to heal up and get back in the game after missing just one game and that too resulted in a victory.
Dak Prescott was a full participant in practice today.
