Meanwhile, NFL insider Mike Florio criticizes Brady for diverting attention from the NFL schedule with news of a potential partnership. Concerns are raised over conflict of interest due to Brady’s involvement with the Las Vegas Aces.

Mike Florio stated- “You know we can’t just have a day when we focus on the schedule. Here comes Bigfoot… crapping all over our day to talk about the schedule… Tom Brady’s in deep discussions to become a limited partner in the Raiders…. I can’t imagine Brady becoming quarterback of the Raiders.”

He added “It would foreclose him playing for anyone else. It’s Tom Brady, he’ll do whatever he wants to do. But if it was anybody else, it wouldn’t even be a question. It would nullify his deal with Fox if he’s a part owner of one of the NFL’s teams.”

In 2022 Drew Brees left NBC due to a vision mismatch, prompting Fox to sign Brady as their premier color commentator post-retirement. Now, Brady securing a lucrative $375 million Fox broadcasting deal for ten years, and plans to join Fox in 2024.

Amid, NBC analyst Chris Simms acknowledges potential conflict in Brady’s Raiders ownership, yet finds it intriguing and safe for investment. “I don’t know how that works, it does seem like a conflict of interest, but I’m not sure if it really matters in the long run. I’m intrigued by Brady’s investment in Las Vegas. Maybe it’s a safe way for him to utilize his money,” per Simms.
