When one of the stars decides to leave, the whole league usually has something to say. When a star as eminent as Tom Brady decides the same, how can people within the field not say something? From analysts to ex-owners, everyone has something to say about Brady’s retirement. Even players from different teams pitched in their thoughts about his decision to retire. One of the most prominent ones was a player from the Cowboys.

The leader of the Cowboys’ defense had something to say. As the last game that Brady played was against the Cowboys, the linebacker from the Cowboys will forever be connected to Brady’s retirement.

The everlasting connection between Micah Parsons and Tom Brady

It seems like there has been an everlasting connection forged between Tom Brady and Micah Parsons. Brady and Parsons faced off against each other in the Wild Card round. On top of a Cowboys win, Parsons was able to garner an interesting accolade. Parsons has become the last player to ever sack Brady. Provided that Brady’s retirement sticks, Parson’s name will always be attached to Brady. Furthermore, Parsons seems like he wants some more from Brady. He recently went on to Twitter to ask Brady for a jersey. Interestingly, this tweet came after Brady released his video of him announcing his retirement.

Parsons wants an additional memento from his showdown against Brady. Even if the linebacker is not able to get it, he already has an accolade related to Brady in the last sack. However, it’s not like Parsons needs more accolades with his performance throughout this season.

Parsons seemed to have a good time for the Cowboys in just his second season in Dallas. Despite a disappointing performance in the playoffs from the Cowboys, Parsons was able to perform well.

Parsons has gone on to play 17 games for the Cowboys. During those 17 games, Parsons had brilliant 42 completed tackles. He also had 23 assisted tackles with an average of 13.5 sacks per game. No matter how he has been off the field, Parsons has been performing well on the field.

It seems like Micah Parsons is going to be connected to Brady for eternity now. With the way he has performed against Brady, Parsons seems like he will be doing great things in his career. It only remains to be seen how prosperous a career Parsons will have in the coming time.
