Odell Beckham Jr.’s future destination is a puzzle that is on everybody’s mind. The most coveted wide receiver in the free agency had his mind almost made up until a week ago. It looked like it was going to be the Dallas Cowboys. However, Dallas didn’t seem too sure about OBJ’s health. And now Micah Parsons has come out with a whole new angle.

Dallas linebacker Micah Parson and cornerback Trevon Diggs accompanied former Giants, Browns and Rams wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. recently to a Mavs-Suns NBA game. And things looked set for Odell to join the Cowboys as the Dallas crowd chanted OBJ’s name. However, things took a turn for the worse after Odell’s 2-day visit.

The Dallas Cowboys let out some critical injury updates when ESPN’s Ed Werder reported that Odell Beckham Jr. may not be ready to play right away. Dallas owner Jerry Jones also expressed his concern over OBJ’s fitness. However, Micah was positive about OBJ’s arrival and gave us a new estimate of his return. “He told me five weeks. He said five weeks,” Parsons said.

Odell completed his round of visits with the Dallas Cowboys, where he met key organizational figures and also underwent physicals and medicals. Dallas owner Jerry Jones spoke to 105.3 Fan Radio and said he was “not confident at all” about the OBJ situation. Jones cited his ACL injury and its subsequent recovery to be a major thinking factor. And fans and media houses all across think that Dallas and Jerry could have passed on Odell without exposing him.

Odell Beckham Jr. suffered a torn left ACL injury during the Super Bowl LVI win against the Cincinnati Bengals. The 3x pro bowler has been absent from the game since then and won’t return before mid-January. However, Dallas is certainly not in OBJ’s good books right now. Micah Parsons spoke for every athlete when he said, “I believe no trainer, no doctor can tell a player how he feels. No one can tell you how your body’s gonna feel except for you. And that’s what he [Odell] said.
