Deion Sanders is a bona fide NFL icon and has caused havoc in the game. Now that he is retired, he is living the life of a coach. But it did not stop him from giving his knowledge to the budding athletes. Neon Deion chose the coaching route and headed to Jackson State to become the head coach, and he is ready for a change. But Jerry Jones feels his NFL return might arrive someday.

During the episode of 105.3 The Fan, Jerry Jones sat down with the panelists. He talked about the possibility of Deion Sanders being back in the NFL. The Cowboys Kingpin has faith in Prime Time to come back as a coach. He believes Sanders has the potential to be an NFL head coach. Jones is the only individual who understands him more effectively than anyone else.

Jerry Jones mentioned, “Deion has such a positive enthusiasm about him, and a real genuine ‘one and one is three.’ It’s a positiveness about him. He has a real understanding of what a player’s mentality can and should be. Of course, he’s actually been around and gotten the benefit of some of the greatest people in sport, and look what he brings to the table.”

“Deion Sanders has a little bit going for him when it comes to being able to be a coach. He is an outstanding — I’m just going to say he’s a great communicator, and he’s a real leader of men,” He added.

Given the magnitude of Deion Sanders’ success in coaching, he would be a great fit in the NFL. But it looks like the great football player will stick to college football programs.

Deion Sanders could be heading to the western U.S.

After a successful run with Jackson State, Deion Sanders would take the next step in his coaching career. The former NFL athlete could also open the door and head back into the league. But it looks like he would stay on the college football program route and head to the western United States.

As per ESPN, the Jackson State HC could look to leave Jackson State and head to Colorado to take up a coaching job. Sanders was reportedly offered the position in Colorado last week. Furthermore, he has been planning his departure and recruiting athletes for his potential new stand in recent days.

It is yet to be seen how Sanders’ exit from Jackson State will pan out.
