Antonio Brown, aka ‘AB’, was recently involved in a comical fiasco. The 35-year-old was spotted in Tallahassee having fun and letting loose. The former WR for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers has had a good career but chose to retire and invest in an NAL team. His news of retirement came as a surprise since he had a good career lined up in front of him. Though with his recent antics, the world of the NFL can do nothing except shake their heads.

Brown has had quite a career ever since being drafted in 2010. He’s played for the Pittsburgh Steelers (2010–2018), Oakland Raiders (2019),  New England Patriots (2019)  and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers (2020–2021). He was released from the Buccaneers in 2022 after a controversial exit by the WR during the middle of a match. He won’t be coming back to the field anytime soon but his future outside the NFL doesn’t exactly seem promising either.

On 8th September 2023, Brown was spotted at a rap concert in Tallahassee enjoying himself. Yet later when fans spotted him and crowded around him, he pulled a hysterical stunt. He took his pants off and tossed them into the crowd! Obviously, the pants were meant as memorabilia as players’ possessions are usually valued a lot but this is just the tip of the iceberg. Later a tweet from the person who received these pants released a video that shows him possessing Brown’s phone as well. Turns out, he forgot that his phone was inside the pants before he tossed them to his fans.

The video soon went viral and had the entire Twitter community talking about the stint. Brown has also been making headlines for a failure to pay child support. A total amount of $15,000 was missed by Brown in child support and an arrest warrant has been issued against him. He’s been at the head of controversy for quite some time now and the latest fiasco would not be helping his case at all.

What does Brown’s future look like in the NFL?

As far as the future of Brown is considered, there is no surety about it ever since he was fired from the Bucs after he made claims that they forced him to play despite an ankle injury. In response to these allegations, the Bucs released a press statement denying these claims and further stating that he was evaluated and given the green light to play. Following this, the very next day Brown was released from the Bucs and has been a free agent ever since.

Antonio Brown officially left the NFL and became a majority owner of the NAL team, Albany Empire with a 94% stake. Unfortunately, it led to more bad news for the American as the team was kicked out of the league for his failure to pay either a required fee or a fine he received after recent public comments. He invested in this team for a sentimental reason. His father used to play for Albany Empire and Brown wanted to reinstate the glory of his team.
