But, after the Super Bowl face-off, Chiefs fans made very kind gestures. Helping Jason Kelce’s ‘Be Philly’ Foundation reach its 2023 fundraising goal, fans began donating in earnest.

According to reports, fans went above and beyond with their donations. On Monday the total neared the $10,000 mark. But by Thursday night it had surpassed $100,000. NFL Insider Dov Kleiman reported that Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce brought more awareness to the case by spreading the word through their retweets.

Kelce is grateful for the support

Jason Kelce took to Instagram to express his gratitude to all those who donated. Part of his caption read, “Largely coming from our opponents last Sunday, we have now exceeded our initial online fundraising goal of $100,000. Chiefs Kingdom sure knows how to win with class, and I cannot thank you all enough for supporting the (Be)Philly Foundation’s mission here in Philadelphia.” Despite the rivalry between the teams, it’s heartwarming to see fans aiding a greater cause.
