Just when they thought he was out, the Miami Dolphins may pull him back in. Seven-time Super Bowl champion Tom Brady may still not be done quarterbacking in the NFL, according to multiple identical reports coming out of the NFL Scouting Combine in Indy.

And this time, the source isn’t an anonymous one from inside an unknown camp. It’s Brady’s former New England alumnus quarterback and present-day Patriots broadcaster Scott Zolak. And he has asked everyone to not believe a word of what TB12 has claimed so far.

The former New England Patriots and Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback retired this February for the second and allegedly last time in his career. However, verified insiders like Scott have heard too much during the 2023 NFL Scouting Combine to believe Brady.

Rich Eisen was the first one to really bring up Tom Terrific’s return. “Folks are saying keep an eye on Miami,” Eisen said. However, this week Brady personally refuted these rumors. “Anyone who thinks I have time to come back to the NFL has never adopted a 2-month-old kitten for their daughter,” the 15-times Pro Bowler tweeted. However, Scott doesn’t buy the cat’s excuse.

Brady may go to Miami. I think that’s in play, I do. I think the possibility of him coming out of retirement is definitely a hundred percent in play. You can sit there and look at the kitten tweet from yesterday. Don’t buy that,” Zolak said.

Tom Brady has done it many times

To be fair, Brady has done it before. After announcing his retirement in February 2022 for the first time, he changed his mind only forty days later. And technically, it hasn’t been forty days since he announced his second retirement. However, it’s not just the Combine news. The hints are all over the place.

First, he plans to build his future in Miami and is also looking for private schools for his children in the Miami area. And then he delays his $375 million 10-year Fox broadcasting deal for an entire season. And his excuse? He wants to be good at broadcasting. Honestly, fans can’t blame Scott for being this skeptical.

Throughout the season, Tua Tagovailoa has earned the trust of the Dolphins organization, despite facing injury problems. And if Brady were to move to Miami, the quarterback would have to either accept the backup role or seek free agency soon.
