Even though Colin Kaepernick is far from making an NFL comeback, he is still fructifying his chances to make public and media appearances through various endeavors. Recently, the former San Francisco 49ers quarterback was spotted at Saint-Germain training camp this Thursday.

It seems the pro-footballer is a soccer fanatic too. He was able to spend considerable time with the stars of the Ligue 1 champion. The Parisian team was the first to reveal the news through their social media handles.
” A special guest at the Parc des Princes! Colin Kaepernick with our Parisians” they wrote on Twitter. Parc des Princes happens to be the home of PSG, where the team held its training before their weekend matches.

In the pictures published by the franchise, Kaepernick was given a No 7 jersey with his name on the back. He posed for some pictures with the Soccer legend Lionel Messi and one of the elite stars of the club Angel di Maria. For a moment, everyone thought that the quarterback was leaving his attempts to make an NFL comeback and try his luck in Soccer. As of now, there is nothing as such, and all these speculations just remain vague rumors.

Moreover, in one of the photographs, Kaepernick was seen greeting Kylian Mbappé with a big smile on his face. Fans were happy to see two superstars of their respective sports in a single frame.
Colin Kaepernick openly making comments for an NFL comeback
Kaepernick’s recent tour to Paris is a part of his hunt to secure a spot in the NFL. A few weeks ago, he openly announced his willingness to resume his NFL career after staying away from the game since 2016. Last month while talking in the “I Am Athlete” podcast, Kaepernick unveiled his desire for the first time.

“I know I have to find my way back. So, if I have to come in as an alternate, I see that as fine. But that’s not where I plan to stay. When I prove I can be a starter, I want to be able to step on the field as a starter. I just need that opportunity to walk through the door.” Kaepernick said in the interview.
After playing for Nevada Wolf Pack, Kaepernick went on to be the starting QB for San Francisco 49ers. He got in, in the second round of the 2011 NFL draft. Successful in leading the team towards a Super Bowl but lost the shot at a Lombardi to Baltimore Ravens that season.
