Ever since the 2022 season began, the Packers could be seen struggling with a poor offensive unit, and the franchise quarterback Aaron Rodgers had recently expressed his disappointment on the same. In fact, the veteran vowed to hold the guys accountable for the losses. And this didn’t seem to have gone well with analysts like Colin Cowherd.

The Packers lost their season opener against the Vikings, and those three wins in consecutive games infused hope among the NFL fans. But this streak was broken in the next three weeks with back-to-back losses.

The frustrated quarterback soon vocalized about simplifying things and called out players and coaches without mentioning their names in public interviews. NFL analyst Colin Cowherd criticized the veteran in this regard in his latest episode.

According to him, the quarterback defamed the entire squad, especially because half the squad is young, and these kinds of statements send the wrong message to the team. “Aaron Rodgers is having the worst seven games stretch, perhaps in his career. What did Aaron say? He went on a YouTube show and called out his coach and called out his teammates.” Cowherd said.

“Saying that publicly is not only a shot at those players, and they all know in that locker room who he’s talking about. So you’re calling out young guys. It’s also calling out Matt LaFleur,” he added to his explanation before calling out the passer’s degraded leadership abilities.

“I’m not a robot up here. I think people in this society have a hard time hearing the truth sometimes, so I’m going to hold guys accountable.” Rodgers said. Well, these comments took no time to spread like a wildfire, and fans started calling out the passer.
