The day of Super Bowl LVII would be historic. The game is already a must-see, with Patrick Mahomes and Jalen Hurts making history. The quarterbacks are working out to show up as the best. Especially Mahomes, who fell prey to a prank on a Rihanna question during a media presser. But the NFL fans had divisive reactions to the situation.

On Wednesday, the Kansas City Chiefs quarterback was in a media scrum ahead of Super Bowl LVII. But former NFL wideout Brandon Marshall had some fun trickery in mind. The six-time Pro Bowler planted himself among the reporters. He asked Patrick Mahomes about his reactions to Rihanna calling him the ‘greatest quarterback ever.’

Patrick Mahomes was in glee while responding. As per KMBC, he mentioned, “It makes me feel great. She’s going to crush it at halftime. I have family members that I think are more excited about the halftime show than the game.” But Brandon Marshall then said that he was just messing with him, which also caught Mahomes off guard.

Brandon Marshall’s prank on the Gunslinger had NFL fans in splits. Some thought it was funny, while others said it wasn’t cool to do so.

KC Chiefs look optimistic ahead of a mega-magnitude battle

The injury bug haunted the Chiefs during the divisional game against the Jacksonville Jaguars. However, the franchise’s injury report seems optimistic ahead of Super Bowl LVII. While the franchise has some athletes on the list, almost all underwent full practice. WR Kadarius Toney was the sole exception, who had limited participation. Patrick Mahomes is still on the list with the ankle injury, but he went through a full practice.

On the contrary, the Philadelphia Eagles have three offensive linemen who are also on the mend. But some of them went through limited practice. However, the situation still looks optimistic for both sides, and they could be good to go ahead with the game.
