As coach Prime aka Deion Sanders started his head coach journey with the University of Colorado, the seeds for the same were planted ages ago. With the new innovative strategies, techniques, and his own plans, the foundation for the team was set up earlier.
As Sanders replaces the former Colorado football head coach Mike MacIntyre, the latter has thrown his weight behind Coach Prime. MacIntyre starts his new journey as well. The coach under whom Colorado players thrived is now moving to Florida for another coaching opportunity. However, he feels that the University of Colorado is in the right hands with Deion Sanders taking over.

Mike revealed that things weren?t great when he first arrived at CU. The things were rather bleak and the place required loads of improvements. From raising money to pay for coaches, bringing in new pieces of equipment, and similar things, the former head coach had to work hard and deliver results.
Mike had an impressive record at Colorado. With a laudable 30-44 record, the former coach was instrumental in getting them in contention for the 2016 College Football playoffs. Mike has now extended his full support to Deion Sanders. He said ?I hope Deion does a great job at Colorado?, he further added ?I?m excited for the hype for him. Earlier Deion grabbed headlines for a fiery and aggressive introductory team meetings. Sanders ensured that every team member took accountability for their actions and asked them to ?jump in that transfer portal?.
In an eventful six months, the former 2X SB champion has yielded results for CU. Post ruffling feathers surrounding college football, Sanders has brought in stalwarts to the side. The NFL stalwarts include- wide receiver Travis Hunter and his son as well as quarterback Sheduer Sanders. The players feel rejuvenated under Sanders?s coaching and seem like a whole different unit. Such has been Sanders?s influence that as many as 40 players entered the transfer portal during the spring week earlier this year. The off-season movement of players can assist in the team winning the College Football championship.
