On Sunday, the Baltimore Ravens took on the Cincinnati Bengals in the wild-card round of the playoffs. Joe Burrow and his cast of explosive offensive firepower were making a lot of noise in the regular season during the final stages. Ravens were still hopeful for a result. However, they went into the game with a huge QB-shaped hole in the team. Lamar Jackson, who has been nursing a knee injury since early December, was not able to make a recovery and help his team and HC John Harbaugh.

Apart from their offensive wing being clipped by injuries, not much was going right for the Ravens. Besides the penalties and disastrous clock management, the squad was merely holding on to the game. Head coach John Harbaugh could not contain his frustrations. The case became even clearer with a side-line interview with NBC’s Melissa Stark. During the conversation, the HC looked rather annoyed at the questions and was visibly on the verge of exploding.

He did not even give the reporter time to finish her questioning. Harbaugh, at the end, cut the interview short with closing remarks, “we’ll just see how the game goes, Okay!” He then walks away from the reporter to join his team on the sidelines.

Fans are not too pleased with John Harbaugh

While it is understandable why the coaches don’t like side-line interviews during the game, it can not be overlooked. It is a part of their job. Fans took notice of his angry demeanor, and they certainly do not appreciate it.

Harbaugh would be looking to put this behind him as they approach an important offseason. Contract talks with former MVP and QB Lamar Jackson are still ongoing. Where the team has maintained its position over the player, there is a growing feeling that he might move away. The Ravens will have the option to use the franchise tag on the 26-year-old if they fail to arrive at an agreement this offseason.
