Ohio State’s CJ Stroud holds the potential to turn the fortunes of any struggling NFL franchise. And then reports emerged last month that Stroud had piqued Jerry Jones’ interest. However, with a recent update coming in, it seems the player is moving away from Jerry. But why?

However, Jerry may have to go on with Dak Prescott, as Stroud seems to be packing his bags for Carolina. The quarterback impressed the top pick-holders a bit too much in the recent workouts. And with the Panthers grabbing the first pick in a wild trade last week, a star on Stroud’s helmet doesn’t seem likely.

But has never managed to get past the divisional round with a 2-4 overall postseason record. Maybe that is why Jones considered 21-year-old Coleridge Stroud for a while.
