Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Ja’Marr Chase showed his talents as a drive-through operator while working on a Raising Canes location. He is coming off playing for the Bengals in Super Bowl LVI on Sunday. But by Thursday, Chase seems to have a new and different job for the NFL offseason. The 21-year-old Bengals wideout worked in the drive-through located in Cincinnati, Ohio. He was doing a pretty good job while reminding the customers to not forget their beverages.

The Beechmont Avenue location soon saw a lot of Bengals fans who wanted to be served by the AFC Championship winning wideout. Chase was enjoying his experience while taking orders and laughing in different instances. Even Raising Canes Founder and Co-CEO Todd Graves was admitting he was a bit starstruck by Chase doing part-time work at the location. Chase, while working on the job states, “This is funny as hell.”

Graves admitted that he had been following Chase’s career from his record-breaking college days in LSU. He and Chase both share the happiness in surprising some of the Cincinnati faithful. Graves was glad that Chase was kind enough to agree for pulling this off.

Ja’Marr Chase: A star is born

Chase has been one of the brightest spots in the Bengals’ run to their first Super Bowl appearance in 33 years. The wideout was also named the AP Offensive Rookie of The Year after a slow start in the offseason, with many doubting the Bengals choice to draft the young prospect.

But Chase has made strides and garnered attention for his performances throughout the regular season and the playoffs.

He was a constant presence in the Bengals‘ offensive line while recording 81 catches for 1,455 yards and 13 touchdowns. He broke several rookie season records for most receiving yards in a single game and throughout the season. His emergence in his rookie season was complemented by QB Joe Burrow, who was his former LSU teammate only a couple of years ago.

While Chase didn’t lead them to Super Bowl LVI, he showed his skills as a WR against a challenging Rams defensive unit. Despite his disappointment, the wideout wanted to thank fans. He wanted to thank them for their support throughout the campaign while agreeing to work at the Raising Canes location.
