How does a team go from being the worst team in the league all the way to the Super Bowl? Pairing Joe Burrow with the most electrifying offensive weapon in college football, wide receiver Ja’Marr Chase. A reunion of two former LSU teammates led the Cincinnati Bengals to the Super Bowl.

Due to the Bengals’ desire to pose greater threats to the opposing team’s defense, they reunited the two LSU teammates. Bengals coach Zac Taylor said, “We needed to be more explosive, and you always want to put more pressure on the defenses.”

In Week 17, against the Kansas City Chiefs, the pair produced their best play. Ja’Marr Chase recorded 266 yards and 3 touchdowns. Additionally, Burrow’s completion of a 30-yard pass to Chase helped set up the game-winning field goal. Burrow has blinding confidence in his teammate. Additionally, Burrow has warned several teams about the dangers of guarding Chase one-on-one.

Thanks to the reunion, the Cincinnati Bengals are a threat

The Cincinnati Bengals drafted Ja’Marr Chase as the fifth overall pick in the 2021 NFL draft. As a result, the National Championship winning-duo was back together. It was a tougher goal this time since it wasn’t college football, but the NFL.

Despite this, the duo did not disappoint the Cincinnati Bengals organization. In addition, Burrow and Chase combined for 206 receptions for 3,801 yards and 37 touchdowns during their one season at LSU and with the Bengals.

It will be interesting to see if the duo can repeat their past success in the biggest game of their lives. There is a tremendous amount of pressure and stakes involved. Even though it is impossible to predict the winner of the Super Bowl. However, there is no doubt that this duo is going to dominate the league in the coming years.
