Recently, the couple attended the Vanity Fair Oscars Night party. But their portrait from the date night has their fans head over heels for it.

Wilson has faced criticism all throughout the 2022 season for his performance on the field. So, while some fans hung over the feeling, others just loved the snaps.

Russell Wilson and Ciara evoke mixed feelings

Vanity Fair took to Instagram to share some portraits of the couples who attended their Oscar bash recently. Amid all the Hollywood couples, Denver Broncos QB Russell Wilson and his rockstar wife Ciara also had their portrait. And the couple looked dashing as always.

But the portrait evoked mixed feelings from the fans. While most of the fans of the NFL QB and his singer wife were head over heels to see them, some naysayers also crept into the comments. Here are some fan reactions.

“Russ just posted taking his daughter on her first dance/date and now THIS,” a fan wrote.

“Ciara and Russell,” another fan wrote in the comments section with fire emojis.

“Ciara and Russell. Pictures do not do Ciara justice. So beautiful and so sweet,” a fan shared their opinion.

“Russell Wilson can’t make eye contact because he knows he’s a thief,” another fan said.

All-in-all, the portrait looked amazing with Wilson in black formal and Ciara in her see-through dress. She faced a bit of criticism for her dress when the look first came out. But it doesn’t seem to affect.

The Wilsons are always in the headlines 

Both Russell Wilson and Ciara just know how to stay in the public eye. The QB is seldom out of the news since his big switch from the Seattle Seahawks to the Broncos. He did not manage the expectations that the Broncos fans had from a QB of his caliber. And for one reason or the other, controversy is not getting off his back.

Ciara, on the other hand, is releasing her new single ‘Da Girls’. She faced criticism from some sections of fans but that hasn’t ever stopped her from trying what she wants. Her dress at the Vanity Fair party is evidence of that.

Wilson and Ciara are enjoying their time together this off-season. The QB would just hope that his 2023 season goes as planned.
