Tom Brady and Gisele Bündchen may have called it quits in terms of their marriage. But that hasn’t stopped the fans from reading into the numerous nuggets of information the former star couple has divulged in the last decade.

Brady and Bündchen were married for 13 years. After being set up on a blind date in 2006. The years that followed were nothing short of iconic from the perspective of the NFL and fashion worlds. As two influential figures, Brady and Bündchen’s relationship invoked curiosity from fans. Bündchen disclosed many details relating to their personal lives in her memoir ‘Lessons: My Path to a Meaningful Life.’

Speaking of the years before they were married, the model stated that the two of them had discussed what they wanted from their relationship. Bündchen said that she wanted an interdependent relationship, not a codependent one.

The model mentioned that her view was to walk side by side as partners, growing individually and never losing the essence of who they are. She also added that she wanted neither of them to give up on their dreams to pacify the other. Speaking of marriage, the model said that she wanted a marriage of equals, based on love, respect, and trust.

“Children should come first. I had always dreamed of having a family, and when that dream came true, my children naturally became my priority.” The supermodel said.

Brady and Bündchen may not be married, but there’s one thing that still ties them together

After a 13-year marriage, the former star couple called it quits. They announced the finalization of their divorce in October via social media. Posting individual statements, the couple made it known that their separation was amicable. In her statement, Bündchen wrote, “My priority has always been and will continue to be our children whom I love with all my heart.” She also stated that the couple would continue to co-parent their children.

Brady and Bündchen share two children, Benjamine, 12, and Vivian, 9. In his statement the Bucs quarterback echoed what Bündchen said, stating that they were “blessed with beautiful and wonderful children who will continue to be the center of our world in every way.” Brady is also a father to Jack, aged 15, with his former partner Bridget Moynahan.

The former star couple’s relationship may have taken its course. But it looks like the couple takes their co-parenting duties very seriously. Both Brady and Bündchen have been spotted spending time with their children. Most recently, Brady spent Halloween with his children. Bündchen also had her turn at enjoying Benjamin and Vivian’s company on a trip to Costa Rica.
