Denver Broncos’ blockbuster signing Russell Wilson still has a lot of work cut out for him. But apart from his dismal debut run with the Broncos, Wilson also makes headlines because of his family with his singer/songwriter wife Ciara Wilson. The Wilson household is always a hot topic of discussion for the NFL world. The NFL power couple has a beautiful family of three children, including son Future Zahir, who Ciara shares with ex-partner Future, daughter Sienna, and youngest son Win Harrison. 

Recently, the NFL world lost one of its best players of all time, Jim Brown. The former Cleveland Browns fullback left for his heavenly adobe at the age of 87. Russell Wilson mourned the death of Brown, who was like a father figure to him in his life. But on the other hand, he indulges in the celebration of life, on a day that is a special occasion for his family.

While fans may be disappointed with the performance he put up as a $245 million QB for the Broncos, Russell Wilson is praised for being a wonderful father to his children, even including his stepson. Fans were left in awe recently after Wilson’s post on social media where he was seen enjoying training his son for baseball. Now the QB has come forward once again to show that he loves all of his children equally, as he celebrates Future Zahir’s 9th birthday as a family.

Wilson took to Instagram to share a post on his stepson’s auspicious day. The post includes various moments the father-son duo have shared throughout the years. The 34-year-old wrote, “Happy 9th Bday Young King! Future, We love you. 9 represents confidence, skills & wisdom! The last of the single digits. You are a leader, compassionate to others, and an amazing big brother and an amazing son. But most importantly, you are a child of God!”. This just goes to show that Russell Wilson wishes the best for all of his kids.

But while Wilson is busy in festivities with his family, he also faces the heartbreaking loss of one Jim Brown, who shared a very close and personal bond with the QB since his Seattle Seahawks days. 

Wilson left heartbroken by Brown’s death

Amidst the celebration of his son’s birthday, Wilson also took to social media to mourn the death of the former NFL star. He shared an Instagram story of himself together with Jim Brown, as he wrote, “Rest in peace, Jim. Your legacy will live forever!!.” The photo shared by Wilson was from the time when the duo sat down together back in 2018 when Brown sat had a conversation with the QB. During that interview, they talked about a lot of things, from Brown’s childhood to his favorite NFL career moment. The interview with the former FB was a part of the “LEGENDS” series that Wilson hosted. 

With Wilson celebrating life on one hand and mourning the demise of a figure who was his guiding light, Wilson will be looking forward to getting back on track to prove himself and his worth in the NFL in the upcoming season ahead.
