The Super Bowl fever is in full swing all across America. The Philadelphia Eagles and the Kansas City Chiefs battle it out in Arizona to etch their names in NFL history. And some good news has come out from the Chiefs camp even before the kickoff. A Chiefs player celebrated a big life event before the Super Bowl started.

The US will get their champions at the end of the game and the celebration of football is on. But the Chiefs’ Nick Allegretti celebrated a piece of great news from back home even before the teams took the field for the big game.

Kansas City Chiefs guard Nick Allegretti celebrated the birth of twins on the day of the Super Bowl. Allegretti’s wife, Christina, gave birth to the twins early on Sunday in Chicago. According to the Associated Press, Allegretti saw the birth through a FaceTime call from Glendale.

The teams have prepared for the big day all through the season and they are all locked in to try and win the ultimate prize. But a big life event like the birth of children just adds to the motivation of the players to do more. This could work as a big morale booster for Allegretti, who has started three games for the Chiefs before the Super Bowl.

There is a lot in store for the fans in the Super Bowl showdown. But apart from the game and Rihanna’s halftime show, the fans can keep an eye on other possible Super Bowl wonders.

More Super Bowl births on the cards?

Apart from Nick Allegretti, there are other players who are expecting the birth of their kids anytime. Allegretti’s teammate Mecole Hardman announced that his girlfriend went into labor before the Sunday showdown. Hardman is on the injured reserve, so he is with his girlfriend for the birth.

On the Eagles front, center Jason Kelce is expecting the birth of his third child anytime now. His wife Kylie is at State Farm Stadium with her doctor just in case the baby decides to come to watch the Super Bowl action. He revealed the arrangement on his ‘New Heights’ podcast with his brother and the Chiefs TE Travis Kelce.

“I’m also bringing Kylie’s parents. I’m bringing the girls. Kylie is bringing her OB because she’s going to be 38 weeks pregnant at the game,” the older Kelce said earlier in the build-up to the showdown.
