Patrick Mahomes dominates as QB for the Kansas City Chiefs on the NFL field. Along with a rigorous training regiment, most of his athleticism can be credited to his strict diet, just like how Tom Brady kept himself fit during his playing days. The 2X Super Bowl champion eats about four to five meals a day, including two dinners which are scheduled according to his nutrition needs. Back in 2018, Mahomes talked about how his nutritional intake has been gradually improving with the demands of the game, as he is constantly in the process of staying “in the best shape possible”

But despite a strict diet, the 27-year-old QB likes to indulge in cheat meals every once in a while, just like any other athlete. And the food that he loves to eat as a part of his cheat meal is sure to get your taste buds rolling and bring in a sense of inclination to join him at the dinner table.

The Chiefs QB spends most of his time training and taking care of his nutritional needs in order to be at his peak physical performance for his team. Given the physicality of the game, Mahomes needs to make sure that his diet and workout regime compensate for all the tackles he is accustomed to on the field. And amidst this discipline, the QB loves to indulge in some of his favorite delicacies from time to time. 

According to an article by StyleCaster, Patrick Mahomes most favorite cheat meals include food from Chick-fil-A and Chipotle. He loves indulging in chicken biscuits from Chik-Fil-A and Burrito Bowls from Chipotle. These were also his most ordered items from Postmates in 2018 and 2019. Apart from this, the QB also enjoys prime ribs, barbecue, and french fries from local establishments in Kansas City.

Like others, Patrick Mahomes also has a certain type of food allergy. When he took an allergy test, he found out that he was allergic to nuts and cannot consume them. On the other hand, the QB has a long history with ketchup. Ever since he was a kid, Mahomes loved ketchup. As a child, he would reportedly have sandwiches that had ketchup as the filling. Even now, Mahomes is known for putting ketchup on everything, including ribs and mac and cheese, according to ESPN in 2018. This also led to him becoming the brand ambassador for the Ketchup brand called Hunt’s Ketchup.
