The Chicago Bears seem to make some improvements in terms of their organization. After their abysmal performance in the 2022 season, they will have to make major changes to get them back on track. One such decision was related to team members. The Bears have recently brought in some help for Justin Fields.
The Bears have decided to go ahead with constructing a whole new arena for their team. Notably, it will be in a prime location, replacing an iconic Chicago site.

Here is the new Chicago Bears Arena plan
Chicagoans are going to have a new arena for their team. As per the Chicago Sun-Times, the team seeks to demolish a current iconic property to build their stadium. The plans are for the Bears to demolish the Village of Arlington Heights and construct the new arena. They have officially submitted a request for a permit. If it is approved, the jewel of the Chicago area’s horse-racing community will be torn down.
However, the construction of a new arena has not been confirmed yet. The Bears still want the details of the contract sorted out before they begin any form of construction or demolition. Interestingly, the old stadium for the Bears remains to be one of the most ancient arenas that have been used by an NFL team.

The old Chicago Arena aka Soldier Field
Interestingly, the Bears already have an old arena. It has been named Soldier Field, and it opened up in 1924. However, the Bears did not move to this arena until 1971. This stadium was then demolished to create another field. The franchise owners kept the name of the field and dubbed it Soldier Field II. This stadium was built in the same place as the original field and has served the Bears well.

While nothing has been confirmed, the Bears have made it official that they’ll buy the land near the legendary old race course. All signs indicate that they will build a stadium. It only remains to be seen what they’ll build there.
