The Chicago Bears are all set to go up against the Aaron Rodgers-led Green Bay Packers, who happen to occupy the top of the NFC North table with a phenomenal 9-3 run. Although going against a star player like Rodgers is going to be a challenging task for the Bears. But the Chicago cornerback has some advice to give to his fellow teammates.
One of the reasons why Aaron Rodgers is considered as a future Hall of Fame quarterback is that he rarely throws a turnover. Jaylon Johnson’s advice to the ones who are to face Aaron Rodgers
“You’d be a fool if you did that,” Johnson said. “He knows what he’s doing. So I mean you can’t take too many chances or do too much. You just really want to stay true to yourself, to the defense, and just play with good technique.”
Rodgers is a player who thrives on mistakes since he has seen it all. To stop him, defensive coordinator Sean Desai said the club shouldn’t “reinvent the wheel,” they should “reinvent a whole new defense” in order to stop him. To have a chance of reducing Rodgers’ influence, Johnson agreed that the Bears must stay true to themselves.

“He’s going to take advantage of guys who are trying to do too much and get out of character,” Johnson said. “I mean you’ve just got to take the ones that he brings to you and I mean honestly he doesn’t do that too often, so I mean you’ve just got to live with that fact.”

Throughout this season so far, Rodgers has just four turnovers. Kirk Cousins is the only quarterback with fewer interceptions. Cousins has mishandled the ball seven times compared to Rodgers’ two. Combining that with the reality that the Bears are 3-0 when they win the turnover battle and 1-8 when they lose or tie, the Bears may have to accept the fact that they’ll have to find a new method to win at Lambeau.
