The NFL fined Chiefs DL Chris Jones for using abusive language towards Colts QB Matt Ryan. His unsportsmanlike conduct resulted in a penalty of $10,609. The NFL world doesn’t exactly know what Jones told Ryan. It was determined to be ‘abusive language’ by the referee Shawn Smith.

Later, the NFL upheld the decision by the referee. In the game report, Smith wrote Jones used disturbing language and added that has no place in professional football. The 29-year-old’s gesture in the game raised several reactions on Twitter.
