The Indianapolis Colts head coach Frank Reich recently announced that star quarterback Carson Wentz is activated on the roster. He is set to participate with full capacity against the Las Vegas Raiders Sunday night. Wentz was listed on the COVID reserve list Tuesday this week.

However, abiding by the new protocols discussed by the NFL/NFLPA, the league allowed him to return Sunday for this week’s matchup. According to sources, the quarterback has cleared all the necessary protocols required for him to play tonight. And with that in mind, the Colts activated the QB on Saturday for Sunday’s game without knowing the player’s health status.

Carson Wentz to start against the Raiders

This game is going to be a must-win for the Colts, as they are still in the bubble and very much alive in the playoffs contention race. Although Wentz hasn’t been that consistent of a player this season, he is the best shot for coach Reich. The coach trusts Wentz even without a week of true practice. He believes that Wentz could still help Colts clinch a spot in the playoffs.
