In addition to a disappointing season, there is a further worry for the fans in Arizona. Their starting quarterback, Murray, has landed on the questionable list to start against the red and golds on Monday. He suffered a hamstring injury in Week 9. While he soldiered on that occasion; he missed their game against the Rams this past week. And remains limited in the practices up until now.

Whether the quarterback will be able to start on Monday or not is still up in the air. Their backup QB, Colt McCoy, also found himself on the injury report earlier in the week with a knee injury and has missed multiple practices prior to this week. However, he participated in both Thursday’s and Friday’s training sessions. So if Murray is unable to start, McCoy will be ready to pounce on the opportunity.

The Cardinals drafted Murray with their first overall pick in the 2019 NFL draft. And the 25-year-old showed a lot of potential in his first season as well. While the team made the playoffs last season, Murray was a key component of the team. Following an early exit from the postseason last time out, people were expecting them to finally step up their game this term.
