Earlier, Jackson took to his official Twitter handle and wrote, “Thank you everyone for your support and concerns regarding my injuries. I want to give you all an update as I am in the recovery process. I’ve suffered a PCL grade 2 sprain on the borderline of a strain 3. There is still inflammation surrounding my knee and my knee remains unstable.“
remains unstable. I’m still in good spirits, as I continue with treatments on the road to recovery. I wish I could be out there with my guys more than anything but I can’t give a 100% of myself to my guys and fans I’m still hopeful we still have a chance. 💜💜

Thank you for your honesty here Lamar. You certainly don’t owe anyone on Twitter any explanations but it is appreciated regardless… get well soon and hopefully the fellas can extend the season a little longer for ya 😊🙏

Meanwhile, one Twitter user thinks Jackson’s season could be over as he might need a surgery to recover fully.
Lamar's PCL is almost complete ruptured causing instability and inflammation in his left knee. Since his injury is this bad, Lamar will most likely need surgery and is effectively done for the season.

On the other hand, one person thinks it was a good PR move from Jackson.
Rob it’s actually a good PR move. I’m sure there are many teams out there thinking about making a run at him… Would much rather sign a guy knowing he was hurt and not sand bagging

Another user wants him to negotiate his contract first before returning to the field.
Please don’t step on that field until you have a contract brother. We good. Let’s say you had a career ending injury this season, no one would have thought twice about how you and yours would look 5-10 years from now. Plus you earned that right at this point 🙏🏽
