Justin Fields, who was chosen 11th overall in the 2021 draught by the Bears, began 10 games and threw for 1,870 yards, 7 touchdowns, and 10 interceptions while posting a 73.2 passer rating. On 72 carries, the former Ohio State star carried for 420 yards and two touchdowns.
Fields should also cooperate with the first offensive coordinator Luke Getsy, who joined the Bears after serving as an offensive assistant with the Packers for five of the previous six seasons. During Getsy’s time in Green Bay, the Packers had one of the most explosive offense lines in the league.
Apart from their six free-agent signings, GM Ryan Poles will undoubtedly continue to add depth to encircle Fields through the offseason and the draft. Moreover, the first-year general manager recognizes the importance of investing in the defensive unit.
