The former Panthers QB did attend a recent interview with the Million Dollars Worth of Game podcast and shared some of his opinions. During the appearance on the podcast, he talked about his upbringing in a strong yet traditional family.
Newton believes that his father was a perfect example of being the ideal man.
He also looks up to his mother and grandmother, whom he believes is the epitome of what a woman should be in real life. He criticizes the notion of women who consider themselves to be a boss chick. Newton calls them out for not following through in life on the claim they can achieve.
Cam Newton seems to be strictly following his traditional upbringing
The 3-time Pro Bowler discussing his opinions about women, states, “A bad b**** is a person who’s just, you know, ‘Girl I’m a bad b****, I’m doing this, I’m doing that.’ I look the part but I don’t act the part…Now a woman for me is handling your own but knowing how to cater to a man’s needs. Right? And I think a lot of times when you get that ascetic of ‘I’m a boss bitch, Imma this, Imma that’…But you can’t cook. You don’t know when to be quiet! You don’t know how to allow a man to lead.”
He adds that he uses the term, not in a degrading way, and to distinguish the difference between a real woman and women who claim to boss chicks. While his comments remain controversial and provocative to many NFL fans, fans on Twitter did have their say on the matter.

Another Twitter user did take a potshot at Newton for his recent struggles as an NFL QB.
He wants a woman that can cook, NFL teams wants a guy that can actually play quarterback. I guess we don’t always get what we want

One Twitter user did have his say on Newton’s comments about men needing catering of their needs.
Sorry, but I don't need anyone "catering" to me, I'm a grown-ass man. We're either going to be on the same level, or we're not. Cooking? Man,if you're looking for someone to cater to you like that, go to a restaurant. Ppl should do things because they want, not as an expectation.

Finally, one Twitter user was trying to appease everyone by criticizing Newton’s poor choice of words.
He is right. He’s delivery was off but his message was right. Catering 10 min isn’t saving for him it’s being there for him and being in tune with his needs and wants because you love him so much and you know that he sacrifices for you and he’s there for you because he loves you.
