‘But I’m Tom Brady?’: Subway Commercial Hilariously Snubs 7x Super Bowl Champ While Steph Curry, Serena Williams, and Megan Rapinoe Feature Prominently

Fast-food giant Subway in a series of advertisements partnered with leading athletes. They got big names from different sports to promote their ‘Eat Fresh Refresh’ campaign. The ad featured NFL QB Tom Brady, NBA legend, Steph Curry, Tennis star Serena Williams, and USWNT striker Megan Rapinoe.

Who better than athletes can promote Subway’s healthy bread, and they got Tom Brady, which makes it even better. The first two ads featured Steph Curry and Serena Williams. The third ad saw Brady with Steph Curry and Megan Rapinoe. Subway had so many new launches that they did not have time for “this guy.” Of course, the guy was none other than the GOAT Tom Brady. The guy looked really confused after not getting any attention. He said, “But I’m Tom Brady.”

In the ad, Brady can be seen promoting Subway’s Turkey Cali Fresh sub while Steph Curry takes a dig at the NFL star quarterback. Curry asks a genuine question to Tom Brady about whether he consumes bread in real life or not. Seven-time Super Bowl champ Brady responds by saying, “Steph, it’s a commercial.”

Tom Brady follows one of the strictest diets that he mentioned in his book called ‘The TB12 Method’ which is also the name of his health and wellness brand. Brady has completed his 22 seasons in the NFL and is still playing his best game. 

Tom Brady got featured in another hilarious Subway

Brady’s diet comprises alkaline heavy foods that reduce inflammation and have anti-aging properties. As suggested by his trainer Alex Guerrero, he is not allowed to consume dairy products, sugar, gluten, refined carbs, caffeine, processed meats, and some fruits and vegetables like strawberries, eggplant, and tomatoes. 

Brady partnered with Subway to feature in another commercial. The ad was released during the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Dallas Cowboys game in 2021. 

The commercial that looked like a cologne ad featuring Brady turned out to be Subway’s ‘Eat Fresh Refresh’ ad campaign. The cologne bottle sprays the word ‘Bready’ and Brady at the end says, “Smells so good, I can almost taste it”, while a background voice says, “But you don’t eat bread.” 

Tom Brady’s healthy eating lifestyle is the reason for his extraordinary performances even at this age. Brady announced his retirement in February 2021. But, 40 days after he disclosed he will make a comeback to the NFL for his 23rd season.
