Although Tom Brady is not on the field, it is interesting to see how the Seven-time Super Bowl Champion is still making headlines. A few days ago, the Buccaneers quarterback left the practice session halfway, citing personal reasons. It’s been more than a week, and Brady hasn’t shown up for the preseason games, nor has he dropped updates on a fixed date of return. This made fans and former stars draw their theories on what could be the possible reason behind the move. Former Indianapolis Colts Punter Pat McAfee addressed this issue through his famous talk show and listed some possibilities.

McAfee believes that in this modern world, everyone is tracked, and no one can hide from the spying lenses of the media. Despite spending time in a private yacht in Italy, photos of Tom Brady, along with his wife Gisele Bündchen, were leaked. But this time, the signal-caller left no loopholes to track him down.

“Me and Tom Brady have many different levels of society and life, but everything is tracked,” McAfee said on a recent episode of his show. “Literally everything. So are they just locking themselves in the house and going through some stuff and turning all their phones off?” he added.

Other panelists on the show, including AJ Hawk, derived various speculations with reference to the past. When the former linebacker joked that Brady might have gone for a Disney cruise with his family. Few of them speculated that he might have taken a flight to Alaska. They also talked about the possibility of Brady visiting his wife’s maternal home in Brazil, which is a very small village with minimal communication facilities.

But at the end of the day, there was no clarity on either of the options. McAfee has now grown up as one of the leading sports analysts and had recently joined forces with his favorite quarterback Peyton Manning’s Ohama productions for college football simulcasts on ESPN2.

If not Tom Brady, what are the other options for the Buccaneers?

Buccaneers are now gearing up to play in their second preseason game against the Tennessee Titans on the 21st of August. With Brady still failing to show up, Blaine Gabbert is the top prospect to lead the offensive unit. In the first preseason match against the Dolphins, Gabbert played as the quarterback. He has an extensive experience of 12 seasons in the NFL.

Next on the depth chart are the second-year pro, Kyle Trask, and veteran Ryan Griffin. Griffin has been desperately trying for a backup role for a long time. And now it seems the time has come for the veteran to prove himself.

In the recent press conference for the Buccaneers, head coach Todd Bowles affirmed that there was no fixed date on Brady’s return. At least he was unaware of it. More updates on the matter are yet to arrive. Till then, fans can look forward to an exciting game against the Titans.
