Despite the loss against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, the Buffalo Bills quarterback won the hearts of many people last night. Josh Allen played courageously and fought until the last minute of the match. The quarterback opposite of Allen, Tom Brady, got a lot of attention. However, we cannot go without acknowledging Bills’ QB.

Josh Allen almost steals the show

Under the leadership of Josh Allen, the Buffalo Bills almost made a historic comeback. The Bills stormed back into the game in the fourth quarter. Allen put together a 21-point comeback.

He finished 36 of his 54 passes for 308 yards and got two touchdowns. He also got a rushing score on 12 carries and rushed for 109 yards. For the third time in his career, Allen also ran over 100 yards. His passing attempts were also career-high.

Josh Allen has become the first Buffalo Bills player with 250 passing yards and 100 rushing yards in a game. Despite an amazing effort, the Bills fell 6 points shy and lost to the Buccaneers.

But during the fourth quarter, Allen suffered an ankle injury while making a 23-yard run. He could not put any weight on his left foot for the rest of the game. Josh got his foot wrapped on the sidelines. He was limping on the field, but he was able to complete the match.

Allen needed help to walk during the post-match press conference

During the post-game press conference, Josh Allen was in a walking boot. The franchise quarterback does not know the seriousness of the injury yet. “Honestly, I’m not quite sure,” said Allen. “I guess we’ll do some more tests on it tomorrow. But I finished the game on it, so I don’t think it’s gonna be a big deal.”

The Buffalo Bills are hopeful that the injury is not very serious. But for the time being, they will make sure Josh Allen’s ankle gets proper care and rest. The team will have to rely on their second quarterback, Mitchell Trubisky. They expect him to make reps in practice soon and start in the next game against the Carolina Panthers. The Bills have some big games coming up, and they need a strong offensive lineup.
