His father’s passing really devastated Devin White. However, he buckled up and went on to put up a show through his amazing defensive effort in Munich. In the post-game interview, White spoke about the impact it had on him.
He spoke about the emotions and said, “I mean it was very hard to play you know just a lot of emotions uh but I tried to turn them into good emotions and you know just keep a great spirit you know just that’s the relationship we had.”
Subsequently, he also spoke about making big plays in the game and honoring his father. He went on to say, “The minute I made a big play you know I just knew I was going to honor him.” Devin White had put up spectacular numbers in the game against the Seahawks. He had 9 takedowns, 2 sacks, and 1 forced fumble.
