The Buccaneers GM Jason Licht has a plan to fill the void in the team after Tom Brady left the team. According to him, the plan for the future hasn’t changed much and the franchise is working on bringing in the best players it can for the future.

“I’m gonna be honest, we aren’t really changing anything we do in the draft. In terms of that, it’s not affecting us. I mean if you walk through the hall, our scouts and coaches.. People are all-in up there; I mean we’re trying to win. So, we’re trying to bring in the best players that we can this year and it’s no different than we have in the past,” Licht said in a press interaction.

Licht hasn’t ruled out drafting a QB with their 19th first-round pick even as they have signed Baker Mayfield as a direct replacement for Brady. They also have Kyle Trask to give some competition to Mayfield next season. But it shouldn’t surprise anyone if the franchise did go for a QB. Although the fans are a little confused.

The confusion among the fans

Many fans expressed their confusion over the Bucs GM’s stance for the post-Tom Brady era.  Will nothing change for the Bucs even after losing the seven-time Super Bowl champion QB? Here are some fan reactions.
