As the NFL free agency is about to kick off, teams are trying to build their team for the 2023 season. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are also doing the same. It has not been easy for the Bucs, as their star quarterback Tom Brady recently retired from the NFL, leaving a big void in the team. They are putting all their faith in the 25-year-old QB Kyle Trask to lead the offense next season. On the other hand, the Bucs are also moving a beast of a player from last season officially to kick-start the post-Brady era.

Notably, the Bucs made it to the playoffs last season after a pretty average regular season. In the end, they lost in the Wild Card round against the Cowboys, which was incidentally Brady’s last game in the NFL.

In the 2022 offseason, the Bucs traded Mason from the Patriots for a fifth-round pick. Now, the 30-year-old is on the move again, as he will likely play for the Texans in the 2023 season. It is worth mentioning that the offensive guard started all 17 games for the Bucs last season and was in top physical condition. Moreover, he was involved in 99 per cent of the Bucs’ offensive snaps.
